Commissioners and Providers Together: The Citizen at the Centre
Added: 27/02/2008
Updated: 11/10/2008
The vision which underpins self directed support will only become a reality if commissioners and providers find new ways to work together in order to support people in their desire to become active citizens. To do this it is suggested that we need to think anew about how we conceptualise the different groups of people who use social care, now and in the future. This discussion paper considers the implications of this for the role of commissioners and providers.
